12/06/2004 After a long delay, we are able to re-present the Club's Web pages. The address has been changed due to the fact that the previous ISP (internet service provider) had decided that it was not economic to support small users. We hope that this sponsored ISP is an effective solution for the clubs internet presence.

1/06/2004 The club is seeking information and articles to be published in a Commemorative Booklet, marking the Anniversary of it's Foundation. If you have something which you think could be of interest - please forward it to the Club, as soon as possible, C/- Angelo Baldassar - via e-mail to our new address - lagunaveneto@tonon.com.au or by normal mail etc.

29/10/2000 Angelo Baldassar is again re-elected as president with some changes to the committee (a few new faces at last) with about 190 members in attendance.

25/03/2000 At the annual Anniversary Ball, long time member - Antonio Brescacin is awarded Life Membership for his services to the club, both as President and Committee member.

31/10/99 The AGM sees Angelo Baldassar re-elected as president with a small change to the committee. Financially the club continues to perform well and returns the benefits to its members.

8-10 Oct 99 The Club is invaded by Trevisani from across Australia and also from Italy. The Assn. Trevisani nel Mondo Perth holds its Convegno bringing together over 700 members for the three days. Included in these guests are Padre Lucianno Segafreddo (Messaggero S'Antonio), Ricardo Masini (ATM Treviso) and Representatives of the Provincia di Treviso. Overall, a resounding success.

2/10/99 The new extensions to the club are opened by the Mayor of the City of Stirling Mr Tony Vallelonga in the presence of Dott. Marco Carnelos (Consul for Italia in Perth) and an enormous turnout of members. Angelo Baldassar congratulated and thanked the many helpers and contributors who worked together to produce such an amazing outcome - "Club rooms to be proud of"

23/5/99 Additions at the club are well on the way, all the new external walls have been constructed and the roofing framework has been completed - we are expecting the roof to be covered this week.

6/2/99 The Club moves into the new millennium with a facelift, additions to its function hall and addition of a new entrance foyer.
Works have already commenced and should conclude within a few months.
This will nearly double the area available for all its functions and represents a considerable investment by the Club and the City of Stirling by way of a grant to the club.

When possible we will keep you posted with pictures as work progresses.
